“ I’ve been coming to Poke Boy since they opened in 2023, originally drawn in by the convenience of having fresh poke so close to home. While I’ll admit the quality of the fish doesn’t quite hit the same mark it did in those early days, I keep coming back—and it’s entirely because of the people. Teresa prepared my online order today and went the extra mile by drawing little animals on our bowls, a thoughtful and personal touch that made our meal feel special. The other front-of-house team member, whose name I didn’t catch, had red highlights and glasses and brought an energy that made the place feel genuinely welcoming. It’s rare to find a spot where the staff makes such a difference in the overall experience. Even if the poke isn’t what it used to be, the care and personality from the team up front are more than enough to keep me coming back. ”

“ This is The best poke place around! All the ingredients are fresh and chopped to a nice small size, and there’s a great amount of options for toppings and fish. I love being able to order online and then go pick it up. The service is great too! I’ve always had a good experience, but I want to highlight one particular young man who jumped to quickly make my order even though I had arrived early. He engaged in conversation and was very pleasant and driven. I didn’t catch his name, but he’s going to EvCC for running start and deserves every promotion that’s eventually offered to him. The store has a nice warm, clean atmosphere. I hope it stays in business for a long time! ”
